Proverbs 31 Mama exists to be a blessing to women by growing in their walk with Christ all while giving Him the glory for it all! I am a stay-at-home wife and mother to a wonderful man of God of 8+ years and two beautiful children. In my early childhood I came to God as a tradition of getting up before the church, confessing Christ and then getting baptized. I really did not understand it at all and in my late teens I began to thirst for something more. I rededicated my life to God in my early twenties and I have truly enjoyed every moment because although you have your tough times walking with God it is a ride that challenges everything about you good and bad. My journey as a Proverbs 31 Mama has been challenging yet exciting and rewarding. It's amazing how God orchestrates things in your life. I remember when I was in my first or second year of marriage me and my hubby went to his cousins church for service. The speaker for the day was their youth pastor. Well for that sermon he began to talk about the Proverbs 31 woman. I had read Proverbs 31 before but had never put that much thought into it. Well this youth pastor begin to preach about how every man should desire this woman that God described and how woman should desire to be her. He began to go and on and on and on in what I thought at the time was just "nonsense". My thinking was that first of all that this women was not possible, nobody was about to be any man's slave and maid for life, well he just need to stay at home with his mama, ok God this man is straight CRAZY, and ok Mr. Youth Pastor good luck in finding a woman outta her mind!! YES! sad to say these were my thoughts I am willing to admit. However, these are the thoughts of many women today and it's okay to have those thoughts but the Bible tells us to renew our minds. This is just what I had to start doing. The Lord allowed me to go through a many of things before I realized that hey this woman is more than possible, this is God's perfect and ideal woman, and I can be this woman. Something just sprung up in the inside of me and I began to desire more and more of becoming this woman and this led me on my journey in becoming God's Proverbs 31woman. That is how Proverbs 31 Mama came to be after some time and my prayer is that your desire is to become more and more like her (Proverbs 31 woman) and be the woman that God has called you to be in the name of Jesus! ~Love & Blessings~
